Yay! We just dropped version 1.12.0 of our iOS and Android apps, available in their respective app stores right now. The main attraction of this release is a double headliner as we roll out two of the most recently requested features…

Full event search

Your events now enjoy enhanced visibility with our expanded search capabilities.

• Users can now search across both festivals and events simultaneously.
• Artist and genre searches return comprehensive results from Norway or your selected region.
• Festival-specific searches provide direct access to complete lineups in the related Festival App.

These improvements mean that your events have greater visibility regardless of whether they're part of a festival or standalone shows, and we managed to do all of this, whilst still keeping the fast and snappy feel that users have come to know and love.

Enhanced Social Sharing

Getting the word out about your events is now easier than ever for Broadcast users:

• Direct integration with Facebook, BlueSky, Threads, and WhatsApp.
• Rich visual previews appear automatically when users share your events.
• One-tap sharing functionality increases the likelihood of social shares.
• As before, the default sharing options remain available for all platforms.

With these enhanced sharing tools, your events can reach broader audiences through more engaging social content, removing obstacles and embracing new platforms.

Map view

We have also introduced a map-based venue discovery highlighting today's events, so that you can see what is going on around you right now.

These updates create new opportunities for audiences to discover your events. With cross-platform search and improved sharing, the events gain additional exposure without any additional effort on the organizers part.
