We are working on introducing user accounts for the audience to the Broadcast platform soon. This development will likely bring additional features and potentially the expansion of event categories within the app. Please follow our updates for the official launch of user accounts.
We are currently working towards a self service solution so that you can sign up and start adding in your events, and even configure your own widget for easy sync with your website plus a lot more tools and analytics, but until that is up and running, reach out to us via the chat or here, and we will give you access.
Broadcast provides a multisided platform with a single source of truth approach with the purpose of bringing people together sharing live event experiences. In order to do so, we want to help connect the organisers and the audience in better ways. With a single source of truth approach, we are able to store all events data one place, and syndicate this information to a bunch of platforms - including music news websites, music blogs, selected hotels (like Strawberry and The Hub in Oslo), other hotels, our iOS and Android apps, our website, Ballade's festival guide and growing.
For the organisers, we provide a SaaS (Software as a Service) platform with tools and synchronization capabilities designed to simplify event publishing and maximize reach. Events published within our ecosystem gain visibility on various channels demonstrated above.
Venues like e.g Rockefeller and Blå utilize Broadcast' API to power their own websites. This means their websites are built on our platform, and the event data they publish on Broadcast is automatically synchronized and displayed on their official web pages, ensuring that their online event listings are always up-to-date and consistent.
Ballade's festival guide is also powered by Broadcast' API (Application Programming Interface). This means that the festival data featured in their guide comes directly from events published on our platform. By listing your festival on Broadcast, you automatically become eligible for visibility within Ballade's dedicated festival guide, reaching a specific audience interested in music festivals.
Yes, we have our own online festival overview, which is identical to the festival listing you find within the Broadcast app. This provides a dedicated space for users to discover and explore the various festivals published on our platform.
We will expand the event categories visible in the Broadcast app feed in the near future, as a strategic decision. We are working on implementing better filtering options to accommodate a wider variety of events. Stay tuned for updates, especially around the time we introduce user accounts, which might coincide with this expansion.
Broadcast currently supports publishing and promotion of all types of events. While the app's feed initially focuses on concerts, clubs, DJs, and festivals for better filtering, the underlying platform is ready for all event categories and is being used by many venues already.
This focused approach allows us to refine our filtering capabilities and ensure the best possible user experience within these core categories. However, the venues profile pages include all types of events, it is only the main feed that has this focus.
Yes, we do, and we are trying to distribute some tips for events every month.
