byLarm presentation at Oslofrokosten 2025

We were thrilled to be invited to give a speech at Oslofrokost again - Utvikling av Oslo som Musikkby, part of by:Larm in Oslo. For the third time, we presented updated numbers about the live music scene in Oslo - trends, concert counts, and insights into how the city is evolving as a hub for live performance.
Oslofrokost is an informal breakfast meeting organized by the City Council’s Department of Culture and Business, Musikkbyen Oslo, Kulturrom, and Musikkontoret MØST.
We shared recent data from Broadcast Oslo: Is the number of concerts up or down? What trends are defining Oslo’s live culture right now? After our presentation, we had excellent conversations with other participants on how music, urban development, and culture policy can work together to ensure that music has space in the city - not just as entertainment, but as a contributor to identity, energy, and value.
