With his base in Oslo, femme dilemma (Jens) has been a resident at the Stockholm-based
Faggotry Collective since 2021, playing at parties and raves throughout Scandinavian
woods and clubs. With the goal of being a platform for passionate music selectors, Faggotry
Collective has hosted events in Stockholm, Malmö, Oslo and Copenhagen whilst running an
online mix series. In selecting tunes, FD blends butch and femme qualities to arouse
subversions of a dancefloor — from catwalk House, progressive Trance, to tribal Techno. —

This Sauna Session mix, however, proved an ample chance to play tunes rarely touched
behind decks. Opting to let most of the tracks to play out in full as they deserve, the result is
a selection of ambient and downtempo tracks picked up during the last 10 years. They
border on seductive, introspective, sultry and melancholic — fitting to moments in good
cumpany or long-awaited solitude. With hopes of bringing you into a hotter state, allow these
tunes to poach those little anxieties for a second.
