Woodcraft er et av de mest spennende strykeensemblene fra Nederland. Ensemblet arbeider med jazz, groove, improvisasjon og vokale elementer, og gir fiolin, bratsj og cello en fornyet stemme i det samtidige musikklandskapet. Gruppen oppstod ut fra et nært vennskap og har utviklet et personlig og sjangeroverskridende uttrykk.
I Nederland har ensemblet opptrådt på anerkjente scener og festivaler som North Sea Jazz Festival, Bimhuis, Cello Biennale, Down the Rabbit Hole og Orange Jazz Days. Woodcraft vant Dutch Jazz Competition i 2022 og Keep an Eye Awards i 2026, og er for tiden i gang med sitt tredje album.

GIGAMY er en Oslo-basert improviserende trio som har spilt sammen siden 2022. De slapp debuten sin "varmerekord" på Nice Things records oktober 2024.
GIGAMY bidrar sterkt på den norske improscena og deres konserter preges av massive elektroniske bølger av lyd og et energisk trommespill, kombinert med celloens vide teksturer og et fandenivoldsk gitarspill som kan minne om Marc Ribot og støyrock. De bidrar i en rekke andre prosjekter, som EIR, OJKOS og MORT BENNY.

Woodcraft is one of the most exciting string ensembles from the Netherlands.
This boundary-breaking ensemble takes elements from jazz, groove, and free improvisation, and constructs them into a brand new sound, giving the violin, viola and cello a renewed voice in today’s musical landscape.
Woodcraft has been awarded the first prize at the Dutch Jazz Competition 2022 and Keep an Eye competition 2026, and they performed among others at the North Sea Jazz Festival, Bimhuis, and Orange Jazz Days.

GIGAMY is an Oslo-based improvising trio that has been playing together since 2022.
They released their debut album Varmerekord on Nice Things Records in October 2024.
GIGAMY is an active part of the Norwegian improvisation scene, and their concerts are characterized by massive electronic waves of sound and energetic drumming, combined with the wide textures of the cello and a fierce, raw guitar style reminiscent of Marc Ribot and noise rock.
The members are also involved in a number of other projects, including EIR, OJKOS and MORT BENNY.
