Bellefolie is a Norwegian alternative pop artist blending the rawness of Norway’s west coast with French flair. In the past year, she has performed in Paris, played for thousands in London, and opened for Sivert Høyem on his tour. Her songs have been playlisted on Norway’s leading radio channel for new music, NRK P3 and P3 Music, as well as on stations in France, Belgium and USA.

Bellefolie was recently named Artist of the Week by GAFFA, the biggest music magazine of the Nordic countries, and played at Vill Vill Vest, one of Norway’s most important festivals for new music. UK’s Nordic Music Central praised her, writing that she “possesses a quality that demands attention, one that transcends Norway or even Europe.”

She has been compared to the likes of Lorde, RAYE and Björk by both UK critics and Norwegian radio. With a voice that cuts to the core and songs that are playful, daring, and unapologetically original, Bellefolie delivers alternative pop driven by inventive synths, heavy bass, and complex rhythms.

Already hailed as one of Norway’s most exciting new acts by Vill Vill Vest, Bellefolie is now taking their powerful live show to international stages.

Kristin von Hirsch jobber som filosofisk praktiker. Med en mastergrad i eksistensfilosofi, religionstudier og bibliotekstudier, samt 25 års erfaring som kreativt utøvende forfatter, fotograf, musikant mm. preges hennes tilnærming til filosofien av nærvær, hands-on, lyttende improvisasjon og åpen undring. "Min resonanskasse for dialog er ’de store spørsmålene’ – med utgangspunkt i liv – død, frihet – ansvar, isolasjon – forbundethet, mening – meningsløshet, tro – tvil osv.
