With his instantly recognizable, rich, and raspy voice, Armstrong was not only an influential singer but also a masterful improviser. By the end of his life, Armstrong's impact had extended beyond jazz to popular music as a whole. He was one of the first prominent African-American entertainers to "cross over" to widespread popularity among white and international audiences.

Alphonso Horne is an exceptionally talented trumpeter and vocalist based in New York. A multiple GRAMMY-nominated artist, Horne captivates audiences with his soulful sound and dramatic flair. A true embodiment of class and eclecticism, he has collaborated with artists across genres and disciplines, including Wynton Marsalis, Patti LaBelle, and Rihanna.
